I hope you are as excited about this new year as I am. This blog, a new addition to the Latin program at GWA, will be a sort of new age forum for us to share.
For the Romans, the forum was an open square or market-place that combined political, judicial, and commercial functions. It was the center of the city, both literally and figuratively. Our forum will serve much the same purpose. Like the Romans, we will gather here to exchange ideas, share news, and learn from one another.
Though this is an open forum, I expect you to respect one another's ideas and comments. No nonsense. I look forward to hearing from each of you.
